The Women’s Aid 24-hour National Freephone Helpline is a free, non-judgmental, and confidential service that offers support to women subjected to domestic abuse including coercive control. This includes emotional, physical, sexual, or economic abuse by a current or former partner.
The National Freephone Helpline provides support in 240 languages. If English is not your first language, we can help you in your own language through our free and confidential telephone interpretation service.
The 24-hour National Freephone Helpline is a gateway to local independent refuges and support services across the country.

The Male Advice Line is managed by the Men’s Development Network and offers confidential advice and support to Male victims of domestic violence and abuse over the phone.
The service is staffed by fully qualified Counsellors and Psychotherapists who have been specifically trained in this area of work. Callers can be assured that at all times they will be treated with the utmost respect and confidentiality. The core objective is to ensure you are safe and that you can talk through what is happening to you without fear, shame or blame.

Anyone affected by rape, sexual assault or other forms of sexual violence can call the National Rape Crisis Helpline 1800 778888, a free and confidential listening and support service run by Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. Skilled crisis counsellors offer non-judgmental support to callers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you prefer to text, there is a webchat support service at drcc.ie. For non-English speakers there is an interpreting service in more than 240 languages. Deaf or hard of hearing callers can text for support via 086 823 8443. You can email the helpline at counselling@rcc.ie.
